Game Plan

1. Wind: (Windy App)
   Wind condition higher than 12 knots could potentially be very dangerous, the waves will be choppy and we might want to add outriggers to all the kayaks.

2. Wet Weather (Windy App)
   What are the chances of rain and at what time? this will also help you to plan your route, you might not want to go to spots that are too far out, and focus on spots that are closer to shore

3. Currents (Windy App)
   Use the High Tide Low tide information to determine the speed and direction of the current that day, know what time is the likely best current with a drift of around 0.6 to 0.9 knots. you want to be at your best and biggest spots at that time range. (Refer to the current and weather page)
   - When the current is too fast, you can consider anchoring them down or focusing on long big drifts on big reefs
   - When the current is slow, focus on small isolated reefs. all the accuracy spots.

Knowing this 3 elements will help you plan your route better. You’ll have a better game plan.

   Which spots do you want to be at during the perfect current? then plan your route around that.

2. Time
   how long are you spending at each spot?

3. Go with the flow
   Choose a trip route where you are mostly flowing with the currents
