Mangrove Maze Fishing Spots

  • There are many possible route combination for mangrove maze.

  • The starting location can be different too, depending on the tide, if it is rising tide in the morning, we will start at Carpark A, if its falling tide, we will start at Carpark E.

Fishing spots information: main land side

  • Rome: fish the pillars and under the pier. (not sure legal or not)

  • Rocky: Great spot! very big area, steep drops and shallow rocky areas.

  • Double barrels: under the double barrels are concrete anchor points, fishes like to hang out there.

  • Logs: leftover bits of a old kelong (small spot)

  • Sunken Kelong 1: great first spot to anchor if we start from carpark E

Fishing spots information: Ubin side

  • Ah Hua kelong, the first kelong beside the sunken kelong, great fishing spot

  • Sunken kelong 2, a good place to anchor and chill after an exhausting paddle across the channel, lots of fishes here.

  • Smith Marine to Kelong Party: great spot when the current is flowing, hang out at the opposite side of the current, use the kelong to slow the current and hide behind the kelong.

  • Clif bar, hit his spot before going into the mangroves.

  • Fortune Cat: this is a massive spot, lots of cat fishes here.

  • Funnel: works the same for both mangrove exit: ambush spot for Kim during falling tide

  • Kim Kardashian: A little village where with lots of structures, Kim hang out spot.
